i remember some nights back while half-watching tv, you know when you're just there but you're not really watching anything, i saw an ad on channel 5. i don't remember what it was about. i only remember being appalled cos i saw the word sepErate on tv! wtf.. get it right pple in the media! it's s e p A r a t e!

anyhoos, i am such a nerd!

hamma reminded me last night while watching project runway that we had to hand in an assignment the next day. after which i knocked my head in exasperation of my absent-mindedness which i reckon did not help my poor lil brain a single bit as the slightest pat on the head kills millions of brain cells. and i learnt from rozzie that they DO NOT REGENERATE!

ok that's not the point. back to what i was saying. so i whipped it out and did the first qn while watching the show, skipped the second and proceeded to the third where i got stuck again. it was bloody damn difficult can! usually, i would just give up and find a way to complete it the next day or something but i dunno what got over me last night. i actually tried to solve it and it bloody hell took me 2 hours and 15 minutes!! it was 1.45am when i finished writing the conclusion.

i felt so proud of myself can! hahahaha.. i actually exclaimed out loud, "waahh.. i proved it!", and when i realised fara was still awake, continued with, "fara say waaaahhh" to which she duly complied. haha.. but then again, i shouldnt be proud. it was only the SECOND assignment for a level 1000 module lahhhh.. *pouts*

i am such a nerd. i hope it'll happen more often. i want As this sem. hehehe..

oh something that made me almost laugh to myself just now in school. we all know how wet the weather was today right? and amidst the flurry of boarding the bus that would bring me to my next class, i saw a girl who wore a tee-shirt that said

wheeeee!

i had a blast today! =)

dilah and i went to ntu to meet waty for lunch cos we had a 6 HOUR BREAK till our next lecture. asked hamma to come along but she didn't want to cos other people would be there.

so anyways, waty forced us to visit her today when she met us last week but then guess who forgot abt it who?? i was making my way there happily with dilah when di smsed me saying waty forgot abt the lunch date! hahahahaha..

met waty, di, shisdah and man (&syai cos apparently, now man doesn't go without syai cos they take the same modules, they live together, sleep together, eat together.. you get the picture). was supposed to meet khairiel also lah but he never came. he just called to ask where we were but he never showed up. i told diana i reckon he probably saw some minah along the way and couldn't resist flirting with her. cos apparently, he's THE WORLD'S BIGGEST FLIRT! hahaha..

had a lot of laughs and fun bitching about everything under the sun. wheee! then waty had to leave for her class and we accompanied her to NIE where we waited for her at the canteen and had the famous value-for-money western food! my fish and chips costed me just $2.50 ok! can you beat that? we sat there a whole 3 hours lahhh! more bitching and laughing of course. hehe..

oh and we saw dilah's friend, harith who told us abt his lecturers' horrendous pronunciation! hahahahhahahaha.. that was the funniest! pls guess what komplan (comp-l-urn) and ern mean. kekeke.. and we met meeemeeeee too! miss her to bits lahh.. ok so anyway, komplan is component and ern is iron!! hahahahahhahaha..

ok the whole purpose of mine and dilahs going there was to pass time till our 6o'clock lecture rite? but in the end, WE DIDN'T GO! hehehe.. feeling a lil bit guilty though cos this is one lecture i never intended to miss or never want to but fun times are hard to come by so just for today, i'll pass. hehe..

ok ok wanna fly now for csi's season finale! yes, i still haven't watched it cos i DO NOT HAVE CABLE! channel 5 is my only source of entertainment. and arts central. how saaad is that? pictures will be up soon soon! toodles!

anyhoos, a question. should i get it in black or white? i can't decide! the white is oh so gorgeous but apparently, it get dirty easily.. as in smudges can get quite obvious. and the black (sorry no pic! i can't find the black n green photo lah.. bodoh) one is pretty but not gorgeous and it won't get dirty as fast.

today is a day to be remembered yet forgotten. remembered just by those present and never to be mentioned again.

anyway, i watched kabhi alvida something something just now. i've got to stop saying that.. something something.. hold on i'll google it.

ahhh yes.. kabhi alvida naa kehna. means never say goodbye (but then i dun think that's the actual translation. cos kabhi means sometimes, alvida means goodbye and i dunno what naa kehna means). cos then you mean that you'll never meet again. or something like that. i can't recall the actual quote. watch the movie to find out.

it's a saaaaad show. you'll ask what's new right? well this is different. i was telling echa i loved it yet i hated it at the same time. while watching it, i felt like leaving yet my eyes stayed glued to the screen. the one and only reason i love hindi shows about love is cos it's happy and predictable and fake. i like that. you know, then it'll be my fantasy of sorts.

but KANK was very real. and i hated that. i don't watch hindi movies to see what's happening in reality, you know? but i loved it too. i don't mind watching it again and buying the dvd even! i loved loved the songs and cinematography at one point of the movie. reminds me of french cinema. my cuzzy thinks it's a tad too draggy though.

oh, rani put on eyeliner on her lower eyelid and did so much crying in the movie but it didn't smudge a single bit. that left wana (cuzzy's friend) and i wondering what eyeliner she used!! hahaha.. shah rukh was oh so yummy as usual. he's my bollywood equivalent of johnny depp! rani is as pretty as ever, priety got prettier i think. i reckon it's the eye makeup and the hair. and there's even a bit of gorgeous arjun rampal! wooots! and kajol made a cameo appearance. i love her! oh do you know that actually kajol was supposed to be casted as maya(played by rani) and rani's supposed to be rhea(played by priety) but then she had already made commitments to fanaa so she couldn't act in this.

ok anyway, on the way home, i saw a married couple walking hand in hand looking happy (she's pregnant and he's beaming) and i can't help casting a shadow of doubt. i'll never look at a married couple the same way again.

our second-day-of-school photo! wanted to take a first day photo but forgot. hehe..

we went to watch hard candy on monday. it was interesting. at first i couldn't help feeling sorry for the guy cos he's the victim! i mean, the girl was coming onto him all the time. being slutty and all. and how's a guy to say no?? i was hating her and calling her psycho and slut and bitch throughout the movie. more so in the beginning lah.. and then i had doubts. and in the last few minutes, it all became clear. but she's still psycho though..

dilah wilah and fiza wiza! went to the cathay to watch the beat that my heart skipped. at the picturehouse! ooooohh.. super spacious and lovely seats. we forgot abt the no food and drinks rule though cos we were too hungry! we were on the way to the ticketing booth when we passed the f&b counter and we just couldn't resist getting some nachos! it was 5 minutes before the movie started when we got the tickets that we were remined of the food and drinks ban! aaarrrgghhh..

so we (or rather i. cos dilah was nibbling at a super slow speed and insisted that that was the fastest she could go.) wolfed down the nachos with the WEIRD cheese sauce and gulped our lemon tea at the picturehouse lounge before entering the theatre. alas, we missed the first 5 minutes. boooo..

abt the movie.. i didn't know what to make of it. the reviews said it was "thrilling" but i didn't get the thrilling part of it. and i was constantly distracted by the drilling sounds outside and was annoyed that the theater wasn't soundproofed! and maybe i was too tired and sleepy but i found myself distracted by their dialogue.. like when the guy said, "cent soixante dueze(i forgot how to spell this)", i went hey i know that!

overall, it was an okay movie. nothing great cos dilah and i can't make anything out of the movie. we dunno how to interpret it. and we have a nagging feeling that there might be something in the first 5 minutes that we missed that could have been pivotal in the film. oh well..

first day of school and i've already skipped a lecture. oh my.. why do i have to start school on such a bad note?

oh and i have a bloody huge pimple on my forehead! it's huge and red. eeeewwww.. and some on my chin too but those are not so big so it's ok. bloody period(pun intended)! the huge one appeared on sunday when i woke up and i was thinking.. what an ominous start to the school term.

indeed it is. why, you may ask?

cos the reason i skipped said lecture was cos hama and i were running late for it. and why were we running late for it, you may ask?

cos we were caught up on SHOPPING!

i just couldn't resist all those signs they put up at topshop. you know, the huuuge SALE up to 70% off.

i just had to drop by and drag everyone along with me. hee hee..

and just today alone, i spent $211.80! on 3 tops, 1 bottom, 3 pens, a movie with popcorn set and concession. ok lah concession shouldn't be counted but it's still a hole in my pocket! and tomorrow i'll be spending some more lahh.. why do i do this to myself? why?

looooong day ahead tomorrow. school starts at 8am and ends at 8pm. boooooo..

sham just can't cut me some slack on my little blunder with my laptop(and insurance). boooo..

and then he wrote me a testimonial but before i could approve it, it disappeared. when i told him about it, he said, "you should get insurance for that too"

hahaha.. basket!

one time he was supposed to meet us, we called him to come down since we're downstairs already and he said, "wait wait.. let me wear my pants first."

15 minutes later, he still wasn't downstairs yet! so i called him.

me: eh fuck 15 minutes redi. where are youu?? "let me wear my pants first".. anyhow only. come down now!

sham: err.. it's a very long (pair of) pants.

hahahahaha.. that's why sham's my favourite bitch.

anyhoos, the insurance company didn't pick up my call! booo.. wrote them an email redi. really hope i can get my claim.

tonight's the finale for the fireworks festival! must watch must watch! caught the new caledonia one last night and it was prettier than the italian's routine. wheeee!~ fireworks make me happy.

mommy's coming back tomorrow. i dunno whether to be sad or to rejoice. sad cos i can't drive the car anymore and happy cos.. she's my mom?

ok anyway,

for the longest time i thought i couldn't claim the insurance for my laptop. cos i was reading the cert and it only mentioned damage and theft and some other stuff.

was out with sham n nora today and they were scolding me for not claiming anything. i tried to tell them i can't and they insisted that i call the company. i know i know.. why didnt i call earlier rite? cos i thought since i couldn't claim it, i shan't bother them! i'm nice(read:stupid) that way.

i went in search of the insurance cert again just now when i got back. i was reading it looking for a phone number to call when lo and behold for the first time ever, i saw the fine print at the back of the cert!! *smacks forehead*

and under the definition of damage, there was accidental loss!!

at this point in time, i should be saying yayy rite??

but noooooo... my insurance expires TOMORROW! as in the 12th of august!!!

FUUUUCCCKKK I'M SO STUPID I WANNA KILL MYSELF!

right now i can only hope that the company opens on a saturday. and that i'm not too late.

oh god i'm so annoyed with myself! i am so fucking dumb i don't deserve to be alive. uugggghhhh.. i shall go shoot myself now.

i mean did you actually hear how horrendously joakin sang last night? or any other night for that matter.

and suddenly, i love ken for his honesty! kekeke.. what he said to paul last night made me laugh so hard! something along the lines of, "if you wanna stay in this competition, you can't sing like joakim"! hahahaa...

but my favourite comment so far is dick's, "oh my god! that's got to be the worst rap i've ever heard in my life. you made jay sound black!" on jasmine's rendition of wannabe. hahahahahahhahahahahahaha.. seriously, who sings wannabe on idol?? who?

watched inside man last night. it was fucking awesome! even though i don't quite know what happened exactly, i was blown away by the brilliance of it all. oooooh i'm still getting goosebumps.

yayy new skin! been wanting to change.. had alredi actually.. to a different layout.. but didn't publish it cos cbox is a pain in my ass! i can't change the settings even though i've alredi changed to cookies. booo.. and then i chanced upon this layout which i think is nicer.. so yayyy!

but i still don't have a tagboard cos cbox is bodoh(or maybe it's just my comp). anyone wanna help me pretty pretty please? *bats eyelashes* not that that would help! haha.. ok seriously, anyone nice enough?

anyway, holidays are coming to an end. you know what i'd miss most?

to be able to read the papers at the beginning of each day at my own sweet time! fuck school!

i'm sooo sad lah. wanted to go to the zoo last sat! had the car some more.. but then everybody woke up past 12 and by the time we got ready and waited for people to get ready it'll be too late cos the zoo closes at 6! bluek.. been wanting to go to the zoo since forever lah!

so we changed plans to just lepak at ps and try out the manhattan fish market(diana insisted that i told her it was manhattan number 5. wth?? bimbodoh!) and then watch fireworks. but then we had to run some errands before that and it was too late for makan lest we miss the fireworks and that's an absolute no-no.

after the pretty pretty fireworks(not much photos cos i didn't bring my cam. no i am not bodoh. i gave it to my mom to take lots of photos of MAURITIUS! which she said is pretty boring and said i should've come along cos she's bored. aaaaaw she missses me! kekeke.. cos my dad's still working see. but apparently he's let off work in the afternoon. how slack is that??), we got stuck in a MASSIVE jam on the way to lau pa sat. sham's(read:bodoh) and diana's(read:bimbodoh) fault!

in the end we ended up at simpang. haha! balik-balik, simpang jugak..
